I am currently in the Post Magazine office at 8am three days a week to write news. For nearly two years to November 2010 I wrote early morning web news for the rival, Insurance Times, between 6am and 8am every week day. I was usually writing 5 or 6 stories in those two hours, sometimes as many as 9.
That news also appeared on the websites of sister titles Global Reinsurance and Strategic Risk.
I have also written news stories for The Guardian, The Standard and the FT as well as for countless business-to-business (B2B) magazines.
Tomorrow’s chip wrapper
Today’s news is tomorrow’s fish and chip wrapper, was the old phrase, before health and safety offices insisted newsprint was too dangerous to be that close to such healthy food.
